Dates: November 28, 2024 – January 19, 2025
Theme: Rituals (in celebration of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary)
Route length: ~6.5 km loop through the historic city centre, suitable for walking, cycling, or boat tours
Artworks: 27 installations by 23 artists from around the world
Viewing hours: Usually from ~17:00 until 22:00 or 23:00 (shortened on New Year’s Eve)
🛶 Route Overview
- Start/End points: Commonly begin at Amsterdam Centraal (Damrak) or near NEMO Science Museum
- Path: Oosterdok → Nieuwe Herengracht → Herengracht → Brouwersgracht → Prinsengracht → Westerdok → IJ → return to Centraal
- By boat: A 75-minute cruise passes all installations on the water
